Due to COVID-19, this season might look different than past (or future) seasons. The board is working hard to put in rules and policies to keep your children safe and ensure we can safely play basketball this season. These changes are to protect your children and to comply with state guidelines in order for us to have a league. Some of the policies will be dictated by the state government, others by our leagues, and others by our board.
Click here to learn more about our rules and policies (as well as some FAQs) surrounding the upcoming basketball season due to COVID-19. Please make sure you agree with all the policies and rules of the league before you sign your child up to play this season. We require parents to sign a COVID waiver this season in order to play in the league
SLPPBC Refund Policy
The SLPPBC realize there is a lot of uncertainty right now surrounding the school year and youth sports. We want the parents of our athletes to feel secure that if our season is canceled or shortened due to things outside of our control, your fees are safe and will be refunded to you. We're taking a phased approach to refunds that will refund all or part of your league fees based on when the cancelation occurs. This approach will protect both the parents and the league (as we have costs incurred throughout the season).
If the season is canceled, each rec program will have their own set of refund dates as follows:
Refund Policy for Girls Rec 3rd - 6th grade
Refund Policy for Boys and Girls Rec 7th - 8th grade
Refund Policy for Boys Rec 3rd - 6th grade
